When Claire and Bryce inquired about their Downtown St. Cloud engagement session, I said SIGN. ME. UP! This is one of my absolute FAVORITE engagement session locations in Central Minnesota, and I could not have picked a sweeter couple to photograph there. We had such a great time getting to know each other and taking in all the city vibes.
I get to hear my fair share of proposal stories as a Minnesota wedding photographer, and this one was extra special. Bryce planned their engagement over a surprise trip to California, the first place they had traveled to outside of the state. After some elaborate planning to get her to the airport, they were met with a flight cancellation and had to grab a last minute ticket to get them to LA at 2am. Despite the snags, they spent an incredible day together in LA, and then he proposed on a beach in Malibu after dinner. It was a whirlwind trip!
Luckily, their engagement session was without any hiccups! We headed to Downtown St. Cloud on a beautiful June day. They wandered with me to some of my favorite spots downtown. This was the perfect location because their wedding venue was close by. These two were so natural in front of the camera, and they had such strong chemistry. It is so much fun to spend an evening with such a sweet couple!
Claire leaned into the bride vibes for her cute, white dress. And the large bow in the back…STUNNING. The groom-to-be wore a black suit to keep the wedding vibes going. Their looks complement their black tie affair wedding plans perfectly.
Bryce and Claire, thank you for such a fun night in Downtown St. Cloud. I had so much fun getting to spend time with you, and I cannot wait for your wedding at Harvester Square later this year!
