Sometimes people feel like they need a long photo session to get some really great images or feel like it was worth it. BUT! This St. John’s Arboretum mini session is all the proof you will need to see that we can accomplish SOOOO much in a quick session. I think you will be surprised to see what all we captured!
Megan and Luke snagged one of my last-minute spots for a mini session. Their gallery is full of LOTS of really great photos. It proves how much we can accomplish with a quick 15-20 minute session. It’s true that you have to be ready to hit the ground running, but that doesn’t mean that your session won’t be incredible!
These two were naturals in front of the camera, and we quickly fell into a groove. We had such a great time together. I really enjoyed chatting with them and getting to know them during this brief session. We were also in a really gorgeous area. In fact, it’s one of my favorite engagement session spots because of its versatility and beautiful landscape.
Megan and Luke kept their outfits pretty simple for this shoot, but they really wowed. One of the things I encourage my clients to consider is texture and movement when they select an outfit for their shoot. Megan’s dress is the perfect example of both! The lace in her dress gave a nice contrast to Luke’s simple, casual white t-shirt and jeans look. It was also a very flowy dress (sooo dreamy!) and moved well with her. The skirt gave a lot of visual interest to the photos, which is a dream for a Minnesota couples photographer.
No matter how long your photo session is, whether it’s several hours for a wedding or a short 15 minutes for a St. John’s Arboretum mini session, you will always get some incredible images. We can accomplish a lot together in just a short amount of time, and I know that you will be so excited about the photos you receive!
