When Rachel and Vincent told me they wanted to have their engagement session at the Hewing Hotel in Minneapolis, I knew it was going to be a timeless & elegant session. Count me in!
We met up for some cocktails at the hotel bar, which is the vibest space. With the wood paneling and warm lighting, it was the perfect spot to ease into their session. And, may I add, Rachel & Vincent’s outfits perfectly complimented the space. I loved the classic black look. Rachel had a boat neck, sleeveless dress and Vincent wore a black suit with no tie. They looked like they were straight out of a movie.
After drinks, we went up to the rooftop where we could get some outdoor shots. The Hewing Hotel is such a unique location because you can shoot both indoors & outdoors. We even got some pictures in the elevator (ADORABLE). These two are nothing but fun; they laughed and played through our session – which made for the prettiest photos. I can’t wait for their August wedding at Plymouth Community Center!
Rachel and Vincent met in college. They were on a trip to Chicago since we were both in the same business club. Their mutual friends introduced them, and they played it cool at first, but by the time college was over – the two were dating. Fast-forward and the two took a trip to Denver, Colorado… and on a hike among the wildflowers, Vincent asked Rachel to be his forever-person. And the rest is history.
I loved photographing the bride and groom-to-be at Hewing Hotel! From the bar, to the rooftop, to the elevator… to the outside streets at the end of our session, this was one I’ll remember! Thank you so much for choosing me to be your Minnesota wedding photographer. It’s such an honor! Can’t wait until August!
