Kendra and Luke met the old-fashioned way—on a bar night gone serendipitous. She was out celebrating on a bachelorette party bus, and he was hanging out with friends. One unexpected conversation turned into exchanging numbers, and it wasn’t long before they realized how many mutual friends they had. “We were shocked we hadn’t met sooner,” she said. Now, years later, they’re planning a wedding full of love, laughter, and lots of music.

He proposed at Enger Park, a beautiful overlook above Lake Superior, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
Duluth is close to her heart—she lived there for five years—so it made the moment feel deeply personal and meaningful. Now she can’t imagine the proposal story any other way!
What stands out the most about their relationship is how easy and fun it is. They’re passionate about their faith, their families, and continuing to grow—both together and as individuals.
