I really do love a happy ending, and Leah and Carl’s Fairytale Summer Wedding was the kind of romance that makes my heart skip a beat! As soon as I walked into Saint John’s Abbey, I knew this big day would be unforgettable.
Truly full of genuine joy, intentional details, and the kind of love that radiates in every direction.
Tucked away on the timber frame bridge along the chapel walk, the day began with one of the sweetest first looks I’ve ever witnessed. As a location that holds special memories for the couple, L & C wanted to meet as bride and groom in a place full of nostalgia and sweetness. The emotion and quiet smiles exchanged between them set the perfect tone for everything to come.
We explored the beautiful St. John’s campus for portraits, where literally every turn offered a perfect backdrop. Between the lush greenery, timeless architecture, and this couple’s effortless connection..
Every shot of this Fairytale Summer Wedding felt like it belonged in a storybook.
The celebration continued at The Grands at Mulligans, where the reception space felt both whimsical and warm. String lights, florals, and joyful communion filled the room as Leah and Carl danced the night away surrounded by friends and family who so clearly adore them. And just when I thought the day couldn’t be more perfect, the sky lit up with the most golden, glowing sunset. Giving us one last chance to sneak away for dreamy portraits that looked like they belonged in a painting.
What stood out most to me the most wasn’t just the stunning visuals (though those were definitely a photographer’s dream). It was the way these two looked at each other. The moments of support and shared glances that said “we’ve got this”; those are the real magic.
Leah and Carl, thank you for letting me be part of your Fairytale Summer Wedding. It truly was something special, and I feel so lucky to have captured every enchanted moment!
