Candace and Travis couldn’t have asked for a better day at the Historic Deglman Farm for their wedding. The sun was bright, the sky was clear, and their favorite people gathered from near and far to celebrate a love that has already weathered busy seasons, big adventures, and so many shared memories.
Candace looked incredible in her sparkly A-line dress, catching the light with every step she took. She held a colorful bouquet that was so vibrant and cheery. It matched the joy of the day! Travis was all grins in his tan suit with a pink tie and bonbonnière. Side by side, they couldn’t stop smiling, and it showed in every photo. I loved capturing these two enjoy their special day together.
They did a first look before their ceremony, and it was such a special moment between them. We snuck off around the farm to take a few couples portraits in this beautiful venue before the festivities began.
A Perfect Fall Ceremony at Historic Deglman Farm
The ceremony took place under the sweeping branches of a beautiful tree, the shade creating a calm pocket of space for this big moment. The bridesmaids wore bright berry-colored dresses that popped against the green lawn and soft fall sunlight. The groomsmen looked sharp in navy, adding a classic contrast. Everyone stood with so much pride and excitement for these two.
The farm itself added so much personality.
White barns, rustic textures, hanging greenery, and little pockets of charm everywhere you looked. It’s the kind of venue where you can feel the history. Guests relaxed under the big white tent for dinner, sharing stories and laughter as the sun dipped lower in the sky.
Candace and Travis’ relationship is rooted in adventure and quality time, so it felt fitting that their day had a mix of calm moments, fun surprises, and meaningful details. They love spending one-on-one time together, especially when life gets busy, and their wedding day reflected that intention. Every moment was personal. Every detail reflected what matters most to them.
The Historic Deglman Farm – Reception Space:
After dinner, the dance floor moved inside the barn. If you’ve ever been inside the upper level of the Deglman Farm barn, you know it has its own soul. The mismatched vintage signs, warm lights, and wooden floors created a cozy space where everyone cheered and gathered close. Candace and Travis laughed through their first dance and held onto each other like they never wanted the moment to end.
As the sun set, guests enjoyed ice cream, cookies, and treats, while pockets of conversations formed around the fire. The day wrapped in the soft glow of string lights and the feeling of a community fully showing up for two people who truly love each other.
Candace and Travis, here’s to a lifetime of adventures, slow evenings, and taking care of each other the way you already do so well.
Your celebration at the Historic Deglman Farm was unforgettable, and it was an honor to capture the very beginning of your forever.
