Breezy Point - Fall Wedding | Rule Creative Co

I cannot wait to show you this beautiful day at Breezy Point venue in Minnesota. The wind moves through the trees so beautifully here (thus the name!), and the lake glows in the background. Truly cinematic vibes here.

And couples like Lizzie & Logan bring so much emotion and energy, that the entire day feels so, SO special. From the moment I got there for the getting ready photos, to the newlyweds final dance together, every moment here felt intentional and full of heart. As a Minnesota wedding photographer, I could not have asked for a better day.

Breezy Point Venue? 10/10 recommend!

The entire celebration took place on site, which created the most seamless flow throughout the day. The getting–ready suite was filled with warm light as the bride’s mother helped button her gown, and it was so much fun to photograph in there.

Lizzie’s dress had delicate floral details that shimmered when she moved. She looked like a real princess! The bridesmaids wore deep wine tones that matched the fall palette perfectly. Their dresses added a rich pop of color against the stone paths and golden leaves. I love when everything comes together like this.

Lizzie and Logan decided to do a first look, and the stone steps made the perfect picturesque moment for her descent towards her groom. Logan was all smiles when he saw his bride. (First look feelings never get old!!)

Outside, the Point Lawn overlooked the water and offered a peaceful spot for their ceremony.

Guests gathered with the lake behind them while the wind tugged gently at the bride’s veil. I swear time slowed down. Logan couldn’t stop smiling as Lizzie walked toward him. Their ceremony was simple and heartfelt. No extra fuss. No rush. Just meaningful vows and a few quiet moments with their people to mark this new chapter of their lives.

After the ceremony, we explored the property for portraits. The stone steps, the shoreline, and the wooded trails gave us a range of textures and colors to play with. These two were so natural together. They laughed, kissed, and held on to each other as the breeze kept things interesting. And their wedding party was a full–on hype crew!

Inside the Lakeside Ballroom, the reception had an earthy, fall–inspired look.

Warm lighting, greenery, and soft florals carried the outdoor aesthetic inside. Everything was so cohesive! The couple chose to skip some traditional reception events like cake cutting or a bouquet toss, and instead focused on what mattered to them. Thoughtful toasts, candid dance–floor moments, and time spent with the people who shaped their story.

Of course, one of the highlights of the evening was the very welcome pizza buffet. Guests lined up with huge smiles, and it was such a perfect reflection of the couple’s laid–back, celebratory vibe.

As the night slowed, the couple shared a quiet first dance together. Just the two of them focusing on this moment,, holding on tight and soaking it all in. It was the perfect ending to a day filled with laughter, meaning, and beauty.
