If you contact me to schedule your engagement session and mention that you want to bring your boat and have a romantic evening on the water, my answer will always be SIGN. ME. UP! I am still gushing over Brooklyn and Andrew’s Fish Park engagement session because they did just that! These two lovebirds brought so much joy and playfulness to their shoot – it was an absolute blast capturing their connection.
Bringing something special or meaningful to your relationship or interest is always a great idea. That’s why I was so excited when they mentioned that they wanted to incorporate their little boat into the session. There is also something kind of romantic about being out on the water in a little boat together, all cuddled up. It was heartwarming to watch them sharing laughs together as they navigated out on the water.
After rowing around the lake for a bit, they took to dry land for some photos around the park. This was seriously the most perfect location for them. We had so many opportunities for different backdrops, and they were so stinkin’ cute together.
As a Minnesota wedding photographer, it is such an honor when I get to hang out with couples like Brooklyn and Andrew. They were the MOST fun to hang out with, and we had such a great time together. It is still so incredible to me that I get to hang out with such cool people every day and help them capture such meaningful memories.
The cool thing about an awesome engagement session is that I get to hang out with them again when they get married! I can’t wait for their special elopement in the Black Hills later this year. If it’s anything like their Fish Park engagement session, it will be one for the books!
