Oh my goodness, I’m still bussing from Leah and Carl’s incredible summer engagement at St. John’s University. These two set the bar HIGH on how much fun can be had during an engagement session. We had such a blast together. As a Minnesota wedding photographer, nothing beats having a great time with the couples I get to hang out with.
We visited two locations during our session together. The fun started at The College of St. Benedict, and then we went to the St. John’s University campus. As we wandered through the beautiful grounds, capturing shots between the iconic architecture and lush greenery, I couldn’t help but notice how perfectly in sync Leah and Carl were. Their chemistry was off the charts. Every glance, every touch, every shared laugh – it all spoke volumes about their connection.
There were so many different places on these campuses to take some really awesome pictures. From doorways to tuck into together to big lawns in front of stunning architecture, these spots had it all. We even escaped to the lush greenery of the woods and sat on the dock at the lake. Seriously, we did it all!
Rain tried to crash our party, but Leah and Carl just rolled with it. They were unfazed and took it all in stride. I love the way they just embraced what the day held and kept the focus on the two of them. From the sprinkling rain to the gorgeous sunset, and every single moment in between, spending time with these two solidified that they are truly meant for one another.
I left this summer engagement at St. John’s University feeling like Leah and Carl’s wedding is going to be one amazing celebration. I can’t wait to celebrate with them at St. John’s Abbey in 2025.
