I hope that you are ready to see Bryar and Mitch’s incredible golden hour St. John’s engagement session. It is the EPITOME of golden hour magic. We can probably all agree that there is something truly magical about the soft glow just before sunset. On this day, it was extra beautiful, over the top glowy, and just a little bit like a fairy tale.
I am telling you, the vibes at this session were immaculate. The only thing that beats a perfect golden hour glow is being with great company while you enjoy the views. Bryar and Mitch’s session was filled with laughter, love, and stunning scenery. As a Minnesota wedding photographer, that’s basically the recipe for my favorite kind of session. Hanging out with incredible people at beautiful locations just really can’t be beat!
The cherry on top is when a couple is really in love. Bryar and Mitch are the kind of couple that makes love look effortless. They showed up ready to have fun together and focus on each other. These two are so incredibly sweet, and it was an absolute joy capturing their connection.
We started their session in a wooded area of the arboretum. Bryar wore a beautiful ivory gown with delicate floral details that very much gave bridal vibes. It was flowy and perfect for the ethereal, fairy tale vibes in the woods. Mitch complemented her look with blue jeans and a neutral button down over a white shirt. We had fun walking through wooded paths before heading out to the open field as the sun got closer to setting.
Bryar changed into a more casual outfit. She wore a short olive green dress with long sleeves and paired it with white Converse high tops. Mitch ditched the button up for a more casual look with just blue jeans and a white shirt.
I had such an incredible time with Bryar and Mitch at their golden hour St. John’s engagement session. It has me looking forward to their wedding at The Cottage Farmhouse so we can hang out again. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding and share more with you!
