I'm Samantha - photographer, wife, mom of two, homesteader, and your future bestie. I'm a sucker for love stories and serving my clients. If you need a wedding day sidekick, you can consider yourself in good hands. Learn more about who I am here, and feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have about the Rule Creative Co. wedding experience. My inbox is always open - I can't wait to hear from you!
And this is my incredible husband, Justin.
He prefers not to catch much of the spotlight in my business, but he's a truly integral part of a beautiful experience for our couples (and I'm still totally obsessed with him after almost 13 years of marriage). From holding bouquets so I can fluff a dress, making sure dads are mic'd up for those emotional first looks with their daughters, capturing the groomsmen hanging out candidly, easing the groom's nerves, and running back and forth to help with all the little in-between things, I couldn’t do this without him. Our ability to communicate with just a glance across the room makes everything run seamlessly. You're going to be so glad that he's a part of your vendor team!

I'm Samantha. If you need a wedding day sidekick, you can consider yourself in good hands. From bustling your dress to helping you out when your sticky bra situation fails, re-sewing your groom's button back on when he gets a little too crazy with the guys, or a quick 'lil peptalk reminder that your day is about YOU marrying the love of your life and the rest of it will all fall into place perfectly. Learn more about who I am here, and feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have!
You have questions? I have answers!
Sneak peeks will be shared with you within 48 hours of the conclusion of your event, a blog post of your day with 75+ images will be shared within the week, and your finally gallery will be delivered within 3-6 weeks of your wedding. You will receive your photos as an online gallery you can download the images, share them with family and friends, and order prints right from the gallery to have them delivered to your door.
Personal connection and meaningful service.
I'm not someone who just shows up to photograph your wedding day. I'm here to learn your story and how best to tell it.
I believe in serving you beyond your wedding day. In addition to that, as soon as you book your wedding, you'll be sent an almost 100-page wedding guide including tips for planning your engagement session, choosing aesthetic details for your day, and guidance for planning and constructing a timeline for your day.
You'll receive all the photos with the exception of duplicates, test photos, and mistake images (i.e. photos where the subject is blinking). Unlike most photographers, I don't place a cap on the number of images you receive. As an estimate, however, you can expect approximately 100 photos per hour of coverage. All images will be edited and consistent with what you see on my website and blog.
Yes, I do! you will receive a guide full of outfit tips and suggestions.
Great question! I can help you figure that out on our consultation call/meeting. there are a few things that factor into this like ceremony start time, first looks, guest size, traveling between venues, and other things that may be important to you.
Most of my wedding packages include a second shooter. Having a second shooter present ensures that you will have photos taken from different angles, and plenty of options to choose from when you receive your final gallery! Whether it's my husband (who, frankly, is pretty epic behind the camera) or a trusted local photographer with whom I've worked with previously, you'll never have to worry about your photography needs not being met.
The first step is to fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page! Once I've confirmed that your date is available in my calendar, we'll schedule a meetup (virtual or in-person, depending on your preferences and where you're located) where I'll get to know you and your fiance. We'll discuss your vision, what you're looking for in a photographer, and what it will look like to work with me. I'll walk you through my photography process, from the resources I provide you to the delivery of your gallery, and finally, help you select the perfect package to suit your needs. If you decide you'd like to move forward in working together, then comes the fun part! We'll get a contract signed, then celebrate!
Upon booking, you will put down a $600 retainer which will hold your spot on my calendar. You'll still have the flexibility to upgrade your package after doing so. Prior to your wedding day, you'll be required to pay the remainder of your invoice.
Nope! What you see is what you get! The only additional costs to keep in mind are sales tax (because, ya know, the law), and a travel fee if your wedding is outside my included travel radius. But that’s it. No surprise charges. No weird fine print. Just straightforward pricing and all the magic we’ll create together.
About 75% of my couples warn me that they're "awkward" prior to getting in front of my camera. When you look at my portfolio, do you see any awkward photos? Nope. I promise to guide you as much or as little as you need in order to feel comfortable during our time together. This is also a big part of why I include an engagement session in all of my packages. That way, you get to know me and experience how I shoot and handle posing. All to make your wedding day photos feel natural, stress-free and easy!
