A Beautiful Day for a Wedding
Megan and Chris’s wedding day began with the most perfect blue sky we’ve had all Spring. Could it get any dreamier for a wedding photographer? Such a sweet day for a sweet couple!
Such a sweet moment was Megan and her Mom visiting a local salon to get their hair done before heading to the church to finish getting ready. One of the many things I admired about during this day was the unconditional support and love that Chris and Megan’s friends showed to them. It was truly magical to be a witness to. You both are so blessed!
Originally from Washington State, Megan recently graduated from the College of Saint Benedict studying Chemical Sciences and Biology. Wow! What an accomplishment! Chris has been an amazing support system while they’ve both learned and grown with the move to Minnesota and studying here. Way to be a team guys!!
When he proposed to Megan, Chris organized a BBQ at his dad’s house with their entire immediate family present following a week long trip together. When they’re not working and studying, these two lovebirds enjoy disc golfing and pretty much anything else outdoors. Hello, even more team building! That will serve you well in marriage!
There were several really special details included in Chris and Megan’s day. The first being the veil that her Nana handmade just for this occasion. Megan also wore her Nana’s great grandmother’s ring; it was absolutely STUNNING!! I think my eyes momentarily turned into emoji hearts for a minute.
Through all of the beautiful wedding traditions, the love of this sweet couple shined brighter than even the smiles on their faces. Even sweater than that, I felt their love for God and could feel His hand moving in this new chapter they’ve begun. It is my prayer that they continue to keep Him at the center of it all.
It has been such an honor and pleasure getting to know these two special people. Though they’re moving back to Washington in August, we’ve already made plans for some future shoots together in the PNW! I cannot wait!
