The Engagement Session
I had the pleasure of capturing Heather and Justin’s engagement photoshoot on a beautiful day at Heather’s parents’ property. This was no ordinary location, however, as the property spans over 64 acres and includes a plowed runway (Heather’s father is a pilot).
From the moment Heather and Justin arrived, I could sense the chemistry between them. They were simply radiating love and excitement about this special day. As we started to explore the property and find the best spots for photos, it became clear that they were a couple who loved to have fun and be themselves. They were so comfortable with each other and had an ease in their poses that made my job easy. I was able to capture so many authentic moments as they laughed, snuggled, and played around on the property.
During our initial consultation, Heather and Justin shared some details about themselves and their love story. They mentioned their love for movie nights and Legos, as well as their passion for Lord of the Rings movies. There’s something so magical about hearing a couple’s love story, knowing the passions they share with one another, and getting to be a part of their journey to marriage.
All in all, the engagement session was such a beautiful and fun experience. Heather and Justin were an absolute pleasure to work with and their love for each other was evident in every shot. I am so grateful to have been able to capture their special moments and I know that they will cherish these photos for years to come!
