The Story: A Sweet and Love-Filled Engagement Session

I had the opportunity to capture Madi and Jared’s fall engagement at Mississippi River County Park outside Sartell, Minnesota. As a Minnesota wedding photographer, I love engagement sessions. There is so much excitement and anticipation as they celebrate their love and prepare for their wedding. They can’t be beat! 

Just a few months before this session, I had the great honor of photographing Jared’s proposal to Madi. It is such an incredible privilege to be able to be a part of such special and important moments in people’s lives. It’s even better when I get to follow their journey for a while and celebrate with them. After the proposal photos, I was so excited to meet up again for their engagement session. 

The engagement shoot was a perfect early-October day. The air was crisp, the ground was full of crunchy leaves, and the sun gave their photos the perfect glow. I just love it when all the elements of a location come together to make the perfect backdrop. This location can’t be beat in the fall! 

Madi and Jared decided to include their pup in their photo shoot. This is such a fun way to add a little extra personality to your photos. Pets can also help keep things relaxed and comfortable, which helps us to get the best photos of you!
