The Story: An Early Summer Lakeside Wedding
June 9th, 2024 turned out to be a dream come true for Nicole and Andrew’s wedding day at Seven Dolors in Albany! The weather was on their side, with sunshine galore and temperatures that were perfect for celebrating outdoors (think 70s and breezy – ahhhmazing!).
Everyone got ready off-site, and by the time we finished capturing all the pretty details, it was time for the big reveal – the First Look! Let me tell you, the emotions were high!
But hold on, before I get ahead of myself, let’s talk about those details! Nicole, seriously a total rockstar, grew most of the FLOWERS used throughout the day, and can you believe it, she even HAND-MADE her own wedding gown?! It took her a whole year, but let me tell you, that dress was a showstopper – talk about creativity and dedication!
After the heartwarming first look and some epic photos with the awesome wedding party and their amazing families, it was off to Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany, MN for the ceremony. The ceremony itself was beautiful – a touching homily, shared communion, and then… the big moment! Nicole and Andrew said “I do” with eyes full of love, and the receiving line was bursting with hugs and happy tears.
But wait, there’s more! To kick off the reception festivities at The Pelican Lake Ballroom in St. Anna, MN, Nicole and Andrew hopped on a pontoon cruise during social hour – such a fun way to soak up the gorgeous lake views and enjoy the beautiful weather!
The entire evening was filled with laughter, dancing, and pure happiness. It was so clear that these two are absolutely meant to be. From the handcrafted details to the pontoon cruise adventure, Nicole and Andrew’s wedding day was a perfect reflection of their love story – unique, fun, and full of heart. Congrats you two, and here’s to a lifetime of happiness together!
