From the moment we arrived to this beautiful snowy day, we felt like part of the family. These two are some of the kindest, most down-to-earth people we’ve had the honor of celebrating with, and their day reflected that in every way—intimate, elegant, and filled with so much love.
They started the day with their closest friends and family. Laughing and celebrating while they prepared to say, “I do.” Bliss Salon did the hair and makeup, and it looked flawless. Danielle did a first look with her bridesmaids before heading down to the ceremony space to surprise Riley.
Their venue was Catalyst by Nature Link, which is a stunning venue here! As a Minnesota wedding photographer – I was thrilled to be shooting here. The gorgeous backdrops around the lake. And the indoor areas had beautiful windows to let in all that natural light.
We started the bride and groom portraits indoors and captured them in the space they would become a married couple. And then we went outside to enjoy the snow!
This beautiful snowy day meant the portraits were so dreamy!
Danielle had a fur wrap she put on for some of them, but mostly we just frolicked in the snow together and captured the true Minnesota vibe of the day. Their wedding party joined us at the end, and I really liked the contrast of the blue bridesmaids dresses against the snow! Oh, and let’s have a moment for Love is Blooming florals!! So pretty.
After their portraits, we went inside for their ceremony with all their guests. It was such a meaningful moment, and you could just SENSE the joy in the room as these two tied the knot and became husband & wife. Blessing by Bartlett was their officiant, and she did such a good job creating a meaningful moment for Danielle and Riley.
We kicked off the reception in a beautiful hall, out of the weather for that beautiful snowy day. The bride and groom treated their guests to an amazing party to celebrate their big day. The catering by 3 Cheers was so yummy, and DJ Big Mike knew how to throw down a party on the dance floor! They chose to have cupcakes for their guests by The Cupcake Lady – 10/10 recommend! Their loved ones gave unforgettable speeches and this entire day, was just so relaxed and full of joy.
What an absolute privilege it was to capture this chapter of their love story!
