From the very first moment of Bryar and Mitch’s wedding day, joy was in the air. The Cottage Farmhouse was glowing with spring warmth. Think: green fields, golden light, and just the right touch of pink and peach blooms to make the whole day feel like it had been pulled from a storybook.
Bryar got ready with her girls in The Bridal Cottage, a cozy little space tucked near the main farmhouse. The energy was relaxed, happy, and filled with laughter. Makeup by Hailey Joe Nolan was flawless (seriously, she nailed the “soft glam” look), and when Bryar stepped into her gown from A & Be Bridal Shop, everyone felt the vibe shift. Her wow-factor was instant! I think all of us teared up a little!! And can we have a moment for the florals? Done by her sister, and the day-of coordinator. How special is that!?
Before seeing her groom, Bryar shared a first look with her dad.
I love how special these moments are, and that more people are choosing to spend a moment with their parents on their big day. This groom from a recent wedding, here, chose to do a first look with his mom! As a parent, these moments get me!!
Next, came the first look on the lawn with Mitch. The way he lit up when he saw her? Out of a movie. These are the moments I live for. That quiet, giddy, emotional rush before the day really begins.
We rolled right into portraits, capturing the two of them in the soft spring light, then grabbing the full wedding party. This group was such a vibe! Talk about support, excitement, and joy radiating from every friend by their side.
The ceremony took place indoors at The Cottage Farmhouse, framed by a cross at the altar.
There was a beautiful moment where their parents gathered around and prayed over them. It felt sacred and grounding. The kind of moment that slows everything down and makes you remember what this whole day is really about.
Then? The celebration kicked off! This Little Piggy Catering brought the flavor, The Battered Spoon baked up a dreamy cake, and TrustworthyMusic had everyone out on the dance floor. There were toasts, laughter, delicious food, and dancing until the stars came out.
Just before sunset, we snuck away for golden hour portraits. The kind of portraits that feel like they belong in the pages of a Jane Austen novel. That evening light, those post-ceremony smiles, the quiet “we just did the thing” moment. It’s always one of my favorite parts of the day, and these two fully leaned into it.
As the night wound down, Bryar and Mitch did a classic sparkler exit, surrounded by their favorite people celebrating their big day. It was PERFECT.
When she was first telling me about their wedding, Bryar described her vision for the day as “cozy, warm, and rooted in faith and family”—and I don’t think there’s a better way to sum it up. From shimmering satin gowns to glowing candlelight at each table, from prayers to dance floor shenanigans—this day at The Cottage Farmhouse was everything.
Bryar and Mitch, it was an honor to witness the beginning of your marriage. Cheers to a life filled with the same joy, love, and faith that surrounded you on this day.

A beautiful day that makes beautiful memories. My prayers will go forth daily for a long life together according to His plan, which is the BEST plan. I love you both to heaven and back.
