The Story
This Crow Wing State Park engagement session was one for the books! Sometimes, I meet couples and I know from the instant I meet them that we will work so well together. That was definitely the case with McKenna and Alex. They were so kind and enthusiastic about this photoshoot, which, as a photographer, is so flippin’ awesome to hear! After scouting out some gorgeous nearby areas to meet up for their engagement shoot, we decided to meet in the middle at Crow Wing State Park after they had spent a weekend with their family.
It’s always a little nerve-wracking shooting in a location I’ve never shot at before (though I’ve hiked these trails many times), but I love a challenge and being creative in a new space. And let me tell you — Crow Wing State Part did not disappoint!
Alex and McKenna weren’t shy to love up on each other and enjoy their time in front of the camera. I had a blast with them both. They were super mushy lovey-dovey and it was a photographer’s dream! There’s no doubt their wedding day is going to be filled with so much joy. Their photos turned out absolutely stunning. TBH, I feel like these two should be models in an outdoorsy catalog. I could stare at these images forever! Swoon!
