The Story: A Magical, Glowy Engagement Session
I am so excited to share Nicole and Trevor’s St. John’s Arboretum engagement session with you today. I had the opportunity to spend time with them for this gorgeous evening session. As a Minnesota wedding photographer, I really love the glowy light of an evening session just before sunset. We always get the best photos at this time!
I met up with Nicole and Trevor on a gorgeous mid-October evening. We met at the arboretum, and we wandered to some less-frequented spots to follow the beautiful, glowy light. It’s always fun to go exploring your location during a session. It keeps things fresh and interesting. These kinds of sessions also help to keep things relaxed as we move to different areas. The more comfortable and relaxed you are, the better photos we get!
This was such a fun engagement session! We laughed, had a blast getting to know each other better, and took some magical photos in the meantime. I love when I get to hang out with great clients in beautiful places. You just can’t beat that as a job!
One of the great things about an engagement session is that we get to know each other better before your big day. It gives us an opportunity to see how we work together and feel each other out. The more comfortable we get with each other, the better your pictures are going to look. Getting a chance to spend time together will help me to better prepare for your wedding day as I learn what is important to you and how you feel in front of the camera.
