Breanne and Landen’s big day was the perfect example of a fun and traditional late summer Central Minnesota wedding. They were surrounded by friends and family all day, and they enjoyed EVERY. SINGLE. MOMENT.
One of the things I often tell my clients as a Minnesota wedding photographer is to make the day a reflection of them and their relationship. There are lots of wedding trends and traditions around. Some may feel right for you and others don’t. The best thing that you can do is make sure that the things you are planning are meaningful to you and your partner. Don’t do something that feels stuffy or inauthentic just because that’s what you have seen other people do.
Breanne and Landen really embraced this idea! Their day was truly a magical celebration with their friends and family, who so clearly had a blast all day! They started and ended their day with a smile, and I’m not sure that you could ask for more than that!
They started the day getting ready separately and then meeting in front of a big, red barn for a first look. It was so sweet! Then we moved into some couples portraits. It was SO lush and green, so it made for the perfect spot for their photos. They invited their wedding party and family to join them for some photos, too. Breanne took the sweetest picture with her dad on the back of his motorcycle. I am sure that this is one they will cherish for a long time!
We headed to the church for their traditional ceremony. The service was beautiful, and we snagged some shots of them in the sanctuary. Then, it was time to celebrate! Their reception was one big party (as it should be!) and everyone had such a blast. Everything felt so relaxed and fun.
