This winter wedding was something out of a dream. Matt and Nicole are two of the kindest, most thoughtful people I’ve had the opportunity to meet and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect day for them. These two have the cutest love story!
Honestly, I felt like I was walking through a painting the whole day. Every detail was flawlessly thoughtful, elegant, and full of love. After a cloudy winter, this day was nothing but sunshine. The ceremony took place at Sacred Heart Church in Freeport, Minnesota – a stunning venue with endless gorgeous artwork and stained glass. Everything about the day felt relaxed, seamless, and gentle. The girls got ready together in the church basement, and the guys arrived on-site shortly after the first look.
Following a beautiful traditional Catholic ceremony, the wedding party hopped on a bus and bopped between local bars (who doesn’t love this Midwestern tradition?) then made their way to the reception venue. We all arrived at the reception at golden hour, where we snuck in some sunset photos and soaked up the warm glow of a Minnesota sunset.
The night ended in the best way possible – with everyone tearing up the dance floor in celebration of love! Such a magical day for such a beautiful couple.
Matt and Nicole,
Thank you for sharing and trusting me to capture your wedding day.
I wish you years of love and laughter as husband and wife.
