The Story: An epic PNW Maternity Session
Hey there! I’ve got some exciting news to share with you. Remember Megan and Chris, the couple whose wedding I photographed last year? Well, hold on to your hats because they’re about to become parents! Yep, they’ve got a little bun in the oven, and I had the incredible honor of capturing their maternity photos. But here’s the kicker – they invited me all the way to Oregon, where they currently reside, to do the shoot. How cool is that?
So, off I went to Oregon, ready to capture some beautiful shots of Megan’s baby bump in all its glory. And let me tell you, it was a blast! We started out by exploring Megan’s childhood hometown, reminiscing about all the good old days. She showed me her favorite spots, like the park where she used to spend hours playing with her friends and the trails they used to camp at as a family.
After soaking up the nostalgia, we headed to Mount Rainer. Now, this place was a photographer’s dream come true. Majestic mountains, lush greenery, and stunning views as far as the eye could see. Oh, and did I mention we stumbled upon tons of Foxglove flowers? It was like something out of a fairy tale. What made it even more special was the fact that Megan has those very flowers tattooed on her shoulder. Talk about a picture-perfect moment!
Being a part of this experience was truly magical. To witness the love and excitement radiating from Megan and Chris, and to be able to freeze those precious moments in time, is what makes my job as a photographer so incredibly fulfilling. I’m beyond grateful for the trust they placed in me and for the opportunity to create lasting memories for them.
