The Day:
Today, we’re reliving the magic of Maddy and Drew’s stunning October wedding at the Northern Pacific Center in Brainerd. Spoiler alert: Minnesota weather brought its A-game, throwing us a surprise mix of freezing temps, raindrops, and wind gusts. But fear not, because this couple knew how to turn the unexpected into pure magic!
In true Minnesotan fashion, the weather decided to keep us on our toes. With the frigid temps, we were beyond grateful for the Northern Pacific Center’s gorgeous indoor spaces, providing the perfect backdrop for some cozy and romantic photos.
Maddy, the star of the show, shared some upbeat moments with her squad while getting ready. But the real magic happened when she stepped into her dress, and we captured the sweetest photos of her and Grandma—talk about a love that spans generations!
After a bit of schedule shuffle due to the weather dance, we dived into bridesmaids’ photos and then over to Drew for the first look. Wedding party and family photos followed, leading up to a ceremony that featured jaw-droppingly talented singers. The entire ceremony was truly out of a fairy tale in this gorgeous venue and I don’t think I was the only one with tears in my eyes.
Midway through the festivities, a coffee spill decided to join the party, making a cameo on Maddy’s dress. But fear not, the bridesmaids turned stain-fighting superheroes, and the dress emerged unscathed. Crisis averted, and on to dinner, speeches, a dance floor that set the night ablaze, and some unforgettable outdoor umbrella-and-rain photos!
With an incredible DJ spinning tunes that set the dance floor on fire, this day was an absolute party. It was a celebration of love, laughter, and making the most of every twist and turn.
Maddy and Drew, your wedding day was pure magic, rain and all! Thank you for letting me be part of your unforgettable celebration. Here’s to love that shines brighter than any storm and to a lifetime filled with epic dance moves!
