The Day:
Jayme and Mitch’s October wedding day was nothing short of magical, a perfect blend of love, laughter, and incredible moments shared with their nearest and dearest. Arriving at Mitch’s family farm outside of Albany, the scene was set for a day filled with warmth, joy, and a whole lot of fun.
As tradition goes, I kicked things off with some detail photos, capturing the little touches that made their day uniquely theirs. Then came the much-anticipated first look, set against the breathtaking backdrop of fall colors. The sun played hide-and-seek with the clouds, and although the gusty wind kept us on our toes (and a bit chilly), the love between Jayme and Mitch warmed the day.
After a few “warm-up” breaks, we wrapped up the wedding party photos and family portraits. The next stop on our adventure was Seven Dolors Church in Albany, a charming setting that provided the perfect backdrop for additional photos and the ceremony.
As guests trickled in, we continued capturing the essence of the day. What stood out most during their Catholic Mass was the way Jayme and Mitch couldn’t help but exchange glances, each filled with love and joy, as Father Edward beautifully recalled their love story and talked about God’s importance in their lives together.
Post-ceremony, guests formed a receiving line outside before making their way to the St. Anna Ballroom. Meanwhile, the wedding party took a detour to the Albany Bowling Center for some snacks and tunes on the jukebox, setting the stage for even more memorable moments.
The reception was a page out of a wedding fairy tale: delectable food, sunset photos, speeches that tugged at the heartstrings, and dance moves that brought the house down. It was a celebration that showcased the beauty of Jayme and Mitch’s love story and left everyone with memories to cherish.
As we look back on this special day, it’s clear that Jayme and Mitch’s wedding was more than an event; it was a testament to love, connection, and the joy found in the company of those we hold closest.
