For claiming to be pretty awkward for photos at the beginning of their session, these two sure blew their session out of the water like professional models! Marah and Chris’ Quarry Park evening engagement session was such a great way to spend the perfect Minnesota evening.
These two were so cute together. They are both middle school teachers and love going to state and national parks together. That made Quarry Park a pretty perfect place for their engagement session, and we were there on the perfect evening.
Marah and Chris shared their sweet proposal story with me. Marah loves to get the stamps when they visit state and national parks together. Christ has a custom stamper made and set up at Lake Maria State Park for their visit. They went hiking and stopped at a picnic shelter where Marah spotted the stamper and a piece of paper. She stamped it expecting to see the park name, but instead it said “Will you marry me?” Of course, she said yes, and now they are counting down the days until their wedding!
I love engagement sessions because they help me to get to know you, and help you to get comfortable in front of the camera. Even though Marah and Chris said they felt awkward, they really were naturals and all of their pictures are sooooo incredible. You don’t have to be a model to get beautiful photos with you and your love. And even if you do feel a little awkward, or you don’t know what to do with your hands, I’m there to help and I’ll help you to look and feel your very best.
Marah and Chris, thank you for an absolutely amazing time with you at your Quarry Park evening engagement session. I can’t wait for your wedding day at The Regency Venue next year. I am sure that it is going to be an absolutely incredible day!
