I’ve been so excited to share this beautiful day at The Hayshed with you!! Reanna and Ryan’s celebration was full of laughter, happy tears, and the BEST kind of energy that makes everyone feel like family. From the emotional first look to the warm glow of the barn reception, their day was packed with the sweetest wedding day candid moments from beginning to end.
Reanna and Ryan met back in high school, and you can tell they’ve grown up side by side ever since.
Their connection feels so familiar and effortless now. Every interaction throughout the day was filled with the familiarity of two people who grew up together.
Their proposal story fit them perfectly too. Ryan proposed while they were out hunting together. Reanna said he kept shaking and claiming he was cold, which immediately felt suspicious because “he’s never cold.” He proposed walking out of the woods, with his mom and their dogs waiting nearby. Honestly, it could not have been more personal to them.
Getting Ready at The Hayshed
The entire wedding day carried a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The Hayshed was the perfect backdrop with its rustic wood interior, glowing string lights, and wide open fields surrounding the property.
Reanna’s bridal details were full romantic vibes. Her sparkly heels, neutral florals, sentimental bouquet charm, and blue-toned invitation suite photographed beautifully together. Her gown featured delicate floral lace and sheer sleeves that added such an elegant touch.
Ryan looked every inch the classic groom with a a gray vest, jeans, boots, and a cream tie that matched the soft tones of the day perfectly.
One of the best parts of this wedding was how present everyone was. Even with unexpected drizzles throughout the day, nobody let it affect the mood. The wedding party brought nonstop laughter and encouragement everywhere they went.
These are the kinds of moments that make a wedding gallery feel alive years later.
After we did portraits on the lawn at The Hayshed, everyone moved over to the church for their meaningful ceremony.
These two said I Do and became officially a married couple in the comfort and familiarity of a local church. Their ceremony was full of tradition and meaning. Their guests surrounded them with so much love and affection! It was truly touching to see as a photographer!
As the sun went down, the barn completely transformed. The string lights across the ceiling at this venue created the coziest atmosphere for dancing and celebrating. Reanna and Ryan’s first dances were incredibly sweet and emotional. You could just feel how loved they are by every person in the room.
The entire day at The Hayshed reflected exactly who they are together.
Fun-loving, grounded, kind, and completely comfortable with one another. As a Minnesota wedding photographer, this relationship was such a joy to capture!
