The Story: A fun and playful engagement session
Today’s blog features this amazing couple, Nicole and Andrew, and our amazing time together at St. John’s Campus in St. Joseph, Minnesota.
Now, let me start off by saying that when they arrived, I was a bit worried about the weather. There were clouds in the distance and on the radar, and it looked like it was going to pour down rain on us. But you know what? It actually held off for us! Phew!
We started off by taking some really fun and playful photos on the beach of the lake. We shared a lot of laughs and just had a great time together. Nicole and Andrew were so comfortable in front of the camera, which made my job so much easier. They truly brought out the joy in each other.
Oh, and I can’t forget about Winnie, their adorable dog! She joined us for a few shots on the prairie, and let me tell you, it was just too cute. I always love when couples incorporate their pets into their sessions. It adds an extra touch of love and authenticity.
Nicole and Andrew have such a sweet and natural connection, and it really shines through in their photos. I wanted to capture those candid and genuine moments that truly represent their love. And I think we succeeded!
Overall, this engagement session was a blast. We created timeless memories for Nicole and Andrew, and I am just so grateful to have been a part of it. It’s moments like these that remind me why I love being a photographer.
